Love Island Star Re-Arrested Over Alleged Witness Tampering

A former Love Island contestant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been re-arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. The man in his 20s was originally arrested last year over allegations of sexual assault, stalking, and coercive control.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the re-arrest took place at his home on Monday, April 27, and relates to the ongoing investigation. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

According to a source, the ex-contestant is suspected of attempting to contact the alleged victim to pressure them into withdrawing their complaint. The source described the alleged behaviour as 'incredibly serious' and 'very stupid'.
