An independent jewellers in New Ferry was targeted in a daylight robbery on Tuesday, July 21. Merseyside Police were called to a shop on Bebington Road at around 11.05am after a man smashed a window and stole several items of jewellery.
The suspect fled towards Grove Street. A police cordon remained on Bebington Road while forensic examinations were carried out.
Police investigation underway
Detective Inspector Holly Chance said: 'We are in the early stages of an investigation following a burglary at an independent family jewellers this morning. Our officers are continuing to carry out extensive CCTV and witness enquiries in the area. I would like to appeal to anyone who thinks they may have information on this burglary to please get in touch.'
