Joshua Kerry, 28, of Byrley Road, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, has been charged with engaging in conduct in preparation of acts of terrorism, including against Reform UK leader Nigel Farage MP, Counter Terrorism Policing has said.
Charge under Terrorism Act
The charge was authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service and relates to one count of preparation of terrorist acts, contrary to section 5(1)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2006. It is alleged to have taken place between 31 May 2024 and 8 July 2026.
Suspect also linked to murder case
Kerry is the man suspected to have murdered Ann Widdecombe. The charge was brought today, according to Counter Terror Policing.
