US musician Oliver Tree, 32, has died in a helicopter crash in Brazil, according to reports. The alternative singer and internet personality was among six people killed when two helicopters collided over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning.
Details of the Crash
Two helicopters collided mid-air over the western suburb of Recreio dos Bandeirantes and crashed, with one landing on a car dealership. The impact ignited a fire that destroyed about 20 electric vehicles, but firefighters extinguished the blaze. All six occupants died, including Tree, a Brazilian music producer, Argentine video director, and Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, known as Gaspi. One helicopter carried five people, the other only the pilot.
Investigation Underway
Officials confirmed an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision. A police source told AFP that victims could not be formally identified yet due to severe burns.

Tree, known for his distinctive bowl haircut and internet persona, had hits like Life Goes On, Miss You, and Alien Boy. He amassed over 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with top songs streamed more than 700 million times. He was on a world tour, scheduled for over 70 shows across 30 countries on seven continents. He performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 4 June and shared a video playing football in a Brazilian neighbourhood on Saturday.
