Joshua Kerry, 28, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (October 7) accused of preparing acts of terrorism, including against Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage.
Police said Kerry, of Byrley Road, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, had been charged with one count of preparation of terrorist acts, contrary to section 5(1)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2006, following authorisation from the Crown Prosecution Service.

The charge relates to activity alleged to have taken place between 31 May 2024 and 8 July 2026. Kerry was charged on Friday (October 2).
Counter Terrorism Policing said in a statement: "A 28-year-old man has been charged with engaging in conduct in preparation of acts of terrorism, including against Nigel Farage MP.
Investigation

Kerry is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
