Iranian state-affiliated media has published a report suggesting how Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump, could be assassinated. The report follows a similar propaganda video last month titled 'How to Kill Melania Trump', which ended with an apparent threat towards Barron, saying: 'This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.'
AI-generated clips and leaked data
The new report includes AI-generated clips of Barron Trump wearing an Arsenal shirt and playing his Xbox, along with suggestions for where he might meet people in New York's Trump Tower. According to a translation from Euronews Persian, the report claims he has a 'digital sanctuary of his own' with his communications limited to chats on the gaming console.
The 'leaked data' is said to have originated with a 'girl' who spoke to Barron Trump after bypassing 'the most stringent US Secret Service protocols' and passed the information to the report's authors. The report also features Barron's close personal friend, 19-year-old Maga influencer Bo Loudon.
Bounty and Iranian threats
According to the report, a bounty of $10 million (£7.3 million) has been placed on the head of the President's son. Euronews reported that the video was published in media outlets affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran's state-run TV Channel 3.
On Saturday, the head of Iran's national security council, Mohsen Rezai, said the country was preparing to extend its strikes to US companies. The move would be in retaliation for an 'economic D-Day' threatened by President Trump, which he said would force Tehran to accept a deal to end the war.
Rezai told state media: 'So far, we have only targeted military bases, but if they want to impose economic sanctions on us, the US has oil and economic companies around Iran and elsewhere, and we will strike them.'
