Three men have been jailed for a combined total of more than 30 years for the rape of a teenage girl in Slough, Berkshire. Teague Rose, 36, Raymond Sithole, 27, and Delwyn Rose, 28, were found guilty of the offences following a trial at Reading Crown Court.
Attack in July 2023
The attack took place at a property in Slough in July 2023. The three men pleaded not guilty, but jurors unanimously convicted them. They were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Monday, September 21.
Detective Constable Daniel May from Thames Valley Police described the case as a "deeply distressing and complex investigation" and praised the victim's courage.
Sentences handed down
Sithole, of Long Furlong Drive, Slough, was sentenced to 11 years for one count of rape. Delwyn Rose, of Mead Avenue, Slough, was imprisoned for 11 years on three counts of rape. Teague Rose received a sentence of 12 years and 10 months for rape and attempted rape.
Det Cons May said: "The sentences reflect the seriousness of these offences and mean three predatory men will spend a significant period of time in prison."
Police praise for victim
He added: "I hope this outcome provides the victim and her family with some measure of closure and demonstrates Thames Valley Police's commitment to pursuing those who commit serious sexual offences and bringing them before the courts."
Det Cons May also thanked the survivor and witnesses who assisted the investigation and gave evidence, saying: "Their bravery and determination have been instrumental in ensuring that these dangerous offenders have been held accountable for their actions."
