True crime documentary Still Missing Morgan, focusing on the 1995 kidnapping of six-year-old Morgan Nick, is now available to stream for free on ITVX. The four-part series, previously released in the US in 2023, has left viewers heartbroken as they discover the chilling case.
The documentary follows new leads in the case over the course of a year as new discoveries are made. A synopsis reads: "On the evening of June 9th, 1995, Morgan Nick was kidnapped." ITVX has shared a warning for potential viewers, with guidance on the website reading: "Real crime, Mild language, Distressing details of child abduction."
Viewers call it a 'must watch'
Sharing their recommendation on social media, one true crime fan said it was a "must watch", adding in a video: "It is one of the best true crime documentaries that I have watched. It is extremely heartbreaking of course and it is such a sad case. But this documentary is so well done and it is fascinating. It gives us full insight into exactly what the police are doing."
The fan also noted there was "raw and emotional footage" from family members which is "extremely harrowing", continuing: "As I said, it's a brilliant documentary and definitely recommended." One person replied: "Such an upsetting story", as another commented: "That was utterly heartbreaking." When the documentary was first released, high praise was shared on IMDb, with one person writing: "It's heartbreaking stuff. Child abducted 24 years ago, family still hangs in there. Hope springs eternal. I knew exactly what I was letting myself in for, and stories about abducted or abused children terrify me. Fiction or real-life. I usually give them a miss. Still, I watched the first one, and then binged the other episodes the next day. It's extremely well done. Ridley Scott put his name to it, so that's unsurprising."
