British Transport Police (BTP) have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a woman was sexually assaulted twice on a London Underground Victoria Line train.

The alleged attack happened shortly after 11am on Sunday, June 21, after the victim boarded a northbound train at Seven Sisters Underground station. According to BTP, the man also got on the train at Seven Sisters before allegedly sexually assaulting the woman twice as the service travelled towards Finsbury Park.

Officers investigating the incident have now issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to help with their enquiries.

Appeal for information

A BTP spokesperson said: "Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could assist their ongoing investigation."

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to text the British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 262 of June 21. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
