OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue's mother has defended her daughter's lucrative adult content career, claiming that critics would quickly change their views if they could earn as much money. The 26-year-old, whose real name is Tia Billinger, reportedly makes over £1m a month from extreme videos on the subscription platform.
In a new Channel 4 documentary, 1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, it was revealed that Blue has placed family members on her payroll. Her mother Sarah said: 'Was it something I’d have chosen for her to do? No. I was really shocked. Would I want her to do anything else? No.' She added: 'All you want is for your kids to be happy and she is happy.'
Sarah dismissed assumptions about her daughter's background, stating: 'She’s got no daddy issues, she’s not been abused – all these things people insist that must have happened to her. It’s her choice.' She also addressed online criticism, saying: 'Most of the time I just laugh because if you could earn a million pounds in a month, your morals would soon change and you’d get your bits out.'
The documentary also features Blue recalling a New Year's Eve when she left family waiting in silence while she filmed content. 'It was funny,' she said. The Independent's Olivia Petter gave the documentary a two-star review, describing it as 'sad, uncomfortable and prurient viewing'.
