X Factor Finalist Charged With Attempted Murder After Car Hits Pedestrians

Gabrielle Carrington, 29, a former X Factor finalist, has been charged with attempted murder after a car struck pedestrians in central London. The incident occurred on Argyll Street, Westminster, at around 4:30 am on Sunday, according to the Metropolitan Police.

A woman in her 30s remains in a life-threatening condition, while a man in his 50s sustained life-changing injuries. A third woman, also in her 30s, suffered minor injuries. Carrington, from Manchester, has also been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, and drink driving.

Carrington rose to fame in 2013 as a member of the girl group Miss Dynamix, which reached the live finals of The X Factor. The group disbanded in 2014, and Carrington later became an influencer with over 362,000 Instagram followers.

She has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
