Teen girl kidnapped, drugged, gang-raped twice in two days

A 16-year-old schoolgirl in India was allegedly abducted and gang-raped twice in two days, according to police. The victim's mother reported the incident after the girl left home on August 6 for school.

Abduction and assault

The girl was allegedly intercepted by people in a car, including one who had been pressuring her to be friends. When she resisted, a cloth soaked with a toxic substance was placed over her mouth, causing her to lose consciousness. She was then taken to a location where the accused committed gang rape.

Second attack and escape

She was later abandoned semi-conscious in Zirakpur around 2:15 pm. The accused threatened to kill her if she told anyone. The next day, she was again sexually assaulted by the same accused when she tried to resist. At around 5 pm, she was left near a gift shop in Baltana.
