Laura Prgomet, a reality star and Instagram influencer with 70,000 followers who appeared on the Croatian version of The Bachelor, has been arrested and is in custody after allegedly attacking police officers and throwing glasses and cutlery at Café Brazil in Dubrovnik.
Incident at Café Brazil
According to eyewitnesses and local media, Prgomet became involved in a dispute with a customer, whom she called a 'fatty,' and began throwing glasses. The outburst escalated when police arrived, with Prgomet reportedly hurling explicit abuse and physically attacking officers. One female police officer suffered minor injuries.
Eyewitness Account
An eyewitness told Dubrovnik Daily: 'She looked kind of hysterical, and he approached her and asked if he could help her, but she started yelling even louder, aggressively insulting him and actually threw a glass at him.' The witness also reported Prgomet insulted a female police officer as a 'whore' and wrestled with her in the police car.
Pre-Trial Detention
Prgomet was arrested at the scene and taken to a police station in the Croatian capital, where a judge ordered she be held in custody for up to 30 days due to concerns she could reoffend. Pero Miloglav, spokesman for the County Court, stated: 'She has been ordered into custody for up to one month due to the risk of repeating the offence, taking into account the exceptional persistence, aggression and recklessness she displayed while insulting and physically attacking police officers.'
Charges and Ongoing Investigation
Prgomet faces two criminal offences related to attacks on public officials. The incident occurred hours after she attended a live performance by Serbian singer Darko Lazić. The investigation remains ongoing.
