Police searching for missing mother-of-three Rachel Booth have entered the third day of their investigation, with new details emerging about her final movements. The 38-year-old vanished while out running on Saturday morning, last seen leaving the Barnton area of Northwich.
CCTV footage captured Rachel at a Shell petrol station in Northwich at around 3:50 am, approximately five miles from her home. A worker at the garage, Issac Carolan, told The Sun that his colleague served her and she purchased two items. He noted that 'it didn't seem weird, she didn't seem disturbed or flustered.'
Police believe Rachel may have travelled to the Oakmere area of Delamere, where officers, underwater search teams, and Cheshire Search and Rescue are currently conducting inquiries. A water park in Delamere, less than two miles from the petrol station, was closed on Sunday due to the ongoing police investigation.
Those who know Rachel have described her as 'a lovely clever lady' who is 'very active and very nice.' A fellow mum told The Sun: 'I knew her from the school and she was always pleasant - she has three boys at the school.'
Superintendent Paul Hughes expressed growing concern for Rachel’s welfare, stating: 'We are currently following a number of inquiries to trace Rachel and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.' He thanked local businesses for their patience as the search continues in the Oakmere area.
