Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful vehicle fire in Hamilton.
At around 7.30am on Wednesday, July 29, police received a report of a car on fire at a property on the town's Sneddon Terrace. The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft 8in tall, aged between 18 and 30 and of slim build. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black jogging trousers, black trainers and a black face covering. He left in the direction of Glasgow Road.
Police Appeal
Detective Constable Meechan said: "Our enquiries have been ongoing and we are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or who believes they may have seen a man matching the description to contact us. I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV that could assist to get in touch."
