Dougie Waring, 37, of Daventry Road, Rochdale, appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (September 29) after being charged with the manslaughter of Darren Sanderson.
Incident on South Parade
The charge follows an incident on South Parade at around 1.30am on Saturday (September 26). Mr Waring spoke in court only to confirm his name, age and address.
Next court appearance
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Crown Square Court on November 3.
