A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged indecent exposure incident in Ayrshire. Police confirmed this morning that the 46-year-old was taken into custody after the incident in the Galston area of East Ayrshire.

The alleged indecent exposure occurred on Newmilns Road at approximately 11.20am on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The man is scheduled to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court later today, and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: "A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with indecent exposure in the Galston area of East Ayrshire. The incident took place on Newmilns Road around 11.20am on Sunday, 14 June, 2026. The man is due to appear before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 16 June, 2026, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
