Kieran Hayler, the former husband of Katie Price, has arrived at Lewes Crown Court charged with three counts of rape and one of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between June and October 2016 at an address in West Sussex. Police said that the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has received support from specially trained officers.
Denies all charges
Hayler, 39, denies all charges. At a hearing in May it was reported that Price, 48, will be called as a witness during the trial.
The court was told that Price, who was married to Hayler when the alleged offences took place, will give evidence during what is expected to be a two-week trial. The girl is not a member of Hayler or Price's extended families.
Background and bail
Price and Hayler married in the Bahamas in 2013, but later divorced.
Following his October hearing, Hayler was released on bail until the trial today.
