The first photograph has been released of the 16-year-old girl who died after being found injured on a road near a bus stop in Wakefield.
Nadia Mucha was discovered lying in the road on Rooks Nest Road at around 8.33pm on Tuesday, September 29. She was taken to hospital, where she died four days later, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
Arrest and bail following investigation
Following investigations by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, a 25-year-old man was arrested on Monday morning (October 5) on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries, Yorkshire Live reports.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information from the public.

Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Elly Buchanan, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: "We are continuing to support Nadia's family through this horrific time and are working at pace to find them the answers they deserve."
"Our investigation is still ongoing and we urge anyone with any information to come forward and speak with us so that we can bring justice for Nadia's family."
Police previously revealed that Nadia was discovered near a bus stop on Rooks Nest Road, having sustained severe head and chest injuries. Detectives indicated they believed she had been the victim of a fail-to-stop road traffic collision.
Tributes from loved ones
Heartfelt tributes have flooded social media, with loved ones referring to her affectionately as 'Nadia Victoria'. Her cousin, Courtney Jade Biggs, wrote: "(Nadia) was the most beautiful, selfless, caring, loving, gentle, generous, hilarious, still soul. She didn't deserve any of this."
Helen Maris expressed her sorrow: "So so sad. Thoughts and prayers to her family. Rest in peace N, heartbreaking."
Meanwhile, Natasha Ward paid tribute: "Rest in paradise N. Such a beautiful girl with your whole life ahead of you. Thinking of your family and many many friends at this very sad time". In a message shared on TikTok, Lilly Rose wrote: "Rest In Peace Nadia, love you lots girl".
