Detectives investigating a sexual assault on a train to Manchester Piccadilly have released an image of a man they believe can assist their inquiry. The incident occurred on Saturday, March 14, aboard a service from Crewe to Manchester.
Details of the Assault
According to British Transport Police (BTP), the suspect boarded the train at Crewe railway station just before 7pm, having traveled from Liverpool. He then sat next to a teenage girl and sexually assaulted her during the journey. The man left the train at Manchester Piccadilly, the BTP spokesperson confirmed.
Police Appeal for Information
Authorities are urging the public to help identify the man pictured, as they believe he may have crucial information. The BTP spokesperson stated: "Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation."
