A man has died and a woman has been left seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Pembrokeshire on Wednesday evening. Emergency services were called to the A4075 between Canaston Bridge and Yerbeston at approximately 6:20pm.
The incident involved a grey Kia Sorento and a white Yamaha motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, also 22, was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the Kia Sorento, a 60-year-old man, was uninjured in the crash. Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that the families of those involved have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Road Closure and Investigation
The road remains closed to allow collision investigators to examine the scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Police are appealing for any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage who were travelling along the A4075 at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who may have dashcam footage that could assist our investigation."
