Bangkok Pub Fire Kills 27 in 30 Minutes: Inferno Engulfs Na Ladprao

A devastating fire at the Na Ladprao pub in northern Bangkok killed at least 27 people early on July 12, 2026. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 30 minutes of the alarm being raised around midnight.

Eyewitness Account and Initial Response

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told reporters at the scene that 27 people died and several injured were taken to hospital. He stated that a musician performing at the pub reported seeing smoke from a circuit breaker near the stage before the power cut out, followed by an explosion and thick smoke filling the venue.

Many victims were found in the restrooms at the back of the pub, the prime minister added. Footage shared by first responders showed a huge blaze raging and plumes of smoke billowing from the front entrance, with people attempting to flee as thick black smoke rose into the sky.
