Two Teens Arrested After Bladed Weapons Fight Outside Asda

Police have arrested two 16-year-old boys after a fight involving 'bladed weapons' outside an Asda supermarket in Nottinghamshire.

Officers were called to Priestsic Road in Sutton-in-Ashfield on Friday night at 23:57 GMT, where a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 23 and 24, were injured.

Nottinghamshire Police said the two 16-year-olds were arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

The force said the 17-year-old suffered a slash wound to his arm, while the 24-year-old man had an injury to his elbow. They both attended hospital for treatment. A 23-year-old, who was located later, suffered an injury to his arm.

Det Sgt Adam Penn said: 'We do not tolerate violence or those who think it is acceptable to carry or use weapons. Following these arrests, we continue to investigate this incident, and efforts are ongoing to trace other people believed to have been involved.'
