A three-year-old boy has tragically died after falling from a second-storey window in a block of flats in Sutton, London. The incident occurred at approximately 5:20 PM on Sunday, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.
Arrest Made
A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident. She has since been released on bail pending further enquiries. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the child was rushed to hospital following the fall but succumbed to his injuries.

The Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated: 'Police were called at 17:18hrs on Sunday, 24 May to reports a child had fallen from height from a home address in Sutton. Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. A three-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment where he sadly died.'
