Police and anti-migrant protesters clashed in Glasgow’s East End on Wednesday evening (October 7), leading to road closures and arrests. Glasgow City Council announced road closures just before 8pm due to the ongoing police incident. A spokesperson said: "Due to an ongoing police incident, traffic is not currently permitted to pass through Parkhead Cross."
