Man, 20, Critical After Stabbing Near Pimlico Station

A 20-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in central London, near the popular tourist area of Pimlico. The attack occurred on Lupus Street, a seven-minute walk from Tate Britain, shortly after midnight on Thursday.

The Metropolitan Police were called to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital with stab injuries, where he remains in a critical condition. No arrests have been made so far, and enquiries are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: 'We would like to reassure the community that we are working hard to trace those responsible.' A large cordon remains in place, resulting in the closure of several roads. Pimlico Underground station was shut for around five hours overnight but has since reopened.
