A one-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after reportedly falling from a window of a flat above a shop in Gillingham.
Police investigation
Kent Police said it received a call from the South East Coast Ambulance Service at around 6.10pm on Sunday reporting that paramedics were treating a child who had fallen from a window of a property on Cornwallis Avenue.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Officers attended and the child was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries. Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
