Missing OAP Charles Stuart Auld sparks urgent police appeal

An 80-year-old man who walks with a limp has been reported missing overnight, prompting an urgent police search. Charles Stuart Auld disappeared from the Red Rose Way area of Tarbolton, South Ayrshire, at around 10.30pm on Saturday, October 10, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police issue urgent appeal

Police Scotland has issued a public appeal to trace the pensioner, describing him as white, 5ft 7in tall, bald with a short grey beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, and a dark blue woollen jumper.

Concerns are growing for Charles's safety. Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or who believes he may be in immediate danger, is urged to contact officers or call 999.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information to help trace 80-year-old Charles Stuart Auld, who has been reported missing from Tarbolton."

"Police are increasingly concerned for Charles’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen him, or who has information that could assist officers in tracing him, to come forward."

"Please share this appeal to help us find Charles. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be vital in helping officers establish his whereabouts. Thank you for your assistance."
