A search is underway for a 31-year-old woman who disappeared from Fife over a week ago. Caitlin Curry was last seen in the Springfield area at around 1pm on Tuesday, July 28.
She was in contact with a family member the following day but has not spoken to loved ones since. Caitlin was reported missing to police on August 3, and her family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
CCTV and Vehicle Details
Caitlin drives a black Peugeot 2008 Allure, registration ML66UGU, and is believed to have travelled to the Langholm or Gretna areas. A CCTV image shows her filling up the vehicle at a petrol station, wearing what appears to be a long black coat, or housecoat, and Croc-styled shoes.
Police describe Caitlin as around 5ft 7 inches tall, of medium build, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She has a large mole behind her right ear and a butterfly tattoo on one of her forearms.
Police Appeal
Sergeant Michael Hogg said: “It is out of character for Caitlin not to be in touch with her family and as time passes concerns are growing.
“I would appeal to anyone who has seen Caitlin, her vehicle or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was on the A7 in the Langholm/Gretna areas over the weekend to check dash cam or private CCTV footage to see if they have anything which could assist.”
