Man Stabbed in Tesco Car Park, Police Appeal

Police are investigating after a man in his 50s was stabbed during a fight in the car park of a Tesco supermarket in Catford. The incident occurred outside the Tesco Superstore on Thomas' Lane at approximately 5:50 PM on Friday, May 15.

Emergency Response

Paramedics and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene and treated the victim for multiple stab wounds before transporting him to a hospital. According to the Metropolitan Police, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Investigation Underway

No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing, and inquiries are ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward to assist with the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "At around 5:50pm, police received reports of a stabbing following a fight in the car park of a supermarket in Thomas’ Lane, Catford. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. One man in his 50s was found at the scene with stab wounds and was transferred to hospital. Following assessment, his injuries have been found to be non-life changing. There have been no arrests at this stage."
