A man was allegedly sexually assaulted and followed in a Morrisons car park in Northampton, according to Northamptonshire Police. The incident occurred on Victoria Promenade between 8.50pm and 9pm on Wednesday, May 27.
The victim was approached, inappropriately touched, and pursued by another man before being helped by a group of teenagers. He then left the car park.
A 31-year-old man from Northampton has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody. Officers are appealing for the group of teenagers who assisted the victim to come forward, as they may have important information.
