A man has died after falling from a flat window in Glasgow, with police launching an investigation into the incident. Emergency services were called to a property on Keal Avenue, near Great Western Road, shortly before 12pm on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
Upon arrival, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police Scotland have cordoned off the area and are treating the death as unexplained. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Images from the scene show multiple police vehicles, including cars and vans, as well as medics in attendance. Officers were seen standing behind the taped-off cordon.
A police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man having fallen from the window of a property off Great Western Road in Glasgow shortly before 12pm on Sunday, 1 March, 2026. Emergency services attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
