A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a call regarding welfare concerns for a male in Short Bridge Street, Newtown, at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 3. Officers attended and a 34-year-old male was taken to hospital where, sadly, he passed away. Next of kin have been informed.”
