Knife attack in town

According to Hello! Magazine, the job advert comes after a brutal knife attack took place in the town earlier this year.

On March 15, a 14-year-old boy attacked a teenage girl in a corner shop in Cirencester with a six-inch kitchen knife. The victim survived the attack, but in an impact statement, she described severe ongoing trauma, including flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance, and a loss of independence.

The perpetrator was given a 12-month referral order and a three-year restraining order, sparking online backlash for not being severe enough.
