A Cheshire Police officer is set to face a misconduct hearing following allegations of forming an inappropriate relationship with a vulnerable woman during the course of duty.
The officer, whose identity has not been disclosed, is accused of breaching professional standards by engaging in personal contact with the woman, who was known to be in a vulnerable state.
The case has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which has confirmed an investigation is underway. If proven, the allegations could result in disciplinary action, including potential dismissal.
