A police cordon is in place surrounding a house in Bolton, with officers stationed at the scene on Somerville Square in the Halliwell area of the town.
According to witnesses, police were first called to the address at the centre of the incident late on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, a police car was pictured outside a terraced house, with the cordon stretching around it.
Ambulances at the scene
Details of the incident are, as yet, unclear, but ambulances were also pictured at the scene last night. The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for further details.
