Armed police conducted an extensive search in Liscard on Monday afternoon, July 13, following reports that masked men on bicycles, armed with weapons, chased two other men who were also carrying weapons. The incident occurred on Rake Lane at approximately 3:20 pm, according to Merseyside Police.

Witnesses reported seeing two men on bikes, both wearing balaclavas and carrying weapons, pursuing another pair of men along Rake Lane. Officers responded promptly, with armed units arriving at the scene to carry out a thorough search of the surrounding area. Despite the search, no suspects were located, and police confirmed that nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident.
