Police have cordoned off a street in Peterlee, County Durham, following an early morning incident on Saturday, June 13. Officers from Durham Constabulary and paramedics from the North East Ambulance Service remain at the scene on Passfield Way in Shotton.
Forensics Team at Scene
A police forensics tent has been erected, and a crime scene investigation van is parked alongside several other police vehicles. Forensics officers have been observed entering and exiting the cordon area.

The incident prompted 999 calls shortly after 7am. A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that a double-crewed ambulance, a clinical team leader, a rapid response paramedic, and a specialist paramedic were dispatched.
