Police Statement

Detective Inspector Andy Machray commented: “This was a significant recovery which highlights our commitment to tackling the supply and distribution of illegal substances on our streets. Drugs cause misery and we continue to work alongside our partners, including Aberdeen City Council, to remove them from our communities.”

He added: “Information from the public is vital. We would ask anyone with information or concerns about drugs in the community or a property in their area, possibly being used for this purpose, to contact us. We would also urge landlords in the private rental sector to make sure they carry out thorough checks on prospective tenants. Be particularly aware of tenants who are willing to pay in cash and make regular checks on your property.”
