Right-wing activist Tommy Robinson has appeared at a crown court accused of harassing two journalists by allegedly telling one “I’m coming to get you” and the other “I’ll be knocking at your door”.
The 43-year-old, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, sat in the dock at Southwark Crown Court on Friday ahead of his trial at the same court on October 19.
Charges and Alleged Messages
He is charged with two counts of harassment causing fear of violence to MailOnline reporters Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber through his X account between August 5 and 7 2024.
Wearing a dark blue suit and a black tie, Robinson spoke only to confirm his name after previously entering not guilty pleas to the charges in July last year.
Alleged Threats
He is accused of harassment causing fear of violence through X posts and direct messages, as well as an alleged telephone call on August 5 2024, in which he is accused of telling Mr Young he would visit his house, saying: “I’m coming to get you”.
One of the direct messages Robinson is accused of sending Mr Dirnhuber on X on the same day allegedly said: “I’ll be knocking at your door”.
