The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued an urgent 'do not eat' warning for several products sold at Tesco, Waitrose, and Morrisons due to potential health risks.
Gü Double Sea Salted Caramel Frozen Dessert has been recalled from Tesco and Waitrose after it was found to contain undeclared hazelnuts and soya, posing a serious risk to those with allergies. The affected product has lot number 126135 and a best-before date of June 30, 2027. Customers are advised to return the item for a full refund, no receipt required.
Morrisons has recalled its Savers Cashews (125g packs) due to possible glass fragments. The affected packs have best-before dates of August 9, September 6, September 26, September 28, and October 9. Shoppers are urged not to consume the product and to return it to any Morrisons store for a full refund.
The FSA has stated that point-of-sale notices will be displayed in relevant stores. Consumers with allergies or concerns should contact recall@gupuds.com for Gü products or visit their local Morrisons for cashew returns.
