Married couple Tony and Julie Wadsworth, both BBC radio presenters, have been charged with multiple counts of inciting a boy under 16 to commit gross indecency. Tony, 68, faces five counts, while Julie, 58, faces seven counts. The charges were brought by Warwickshire Police earlier this year.
The couple, from Broughton Astley, Leicestershire, also face a further allegation of outraging public decency. They are expected to appear before magistrates in Leamington Spa.
The BBC confirmed in April that the charges are unrelated to the presenters' roles at BBC Radio Leicester and BBC WM. The corporation has not commented further on the case.
