Katie Price's Father-in-Law Jailed in Same Dubai Prison as Son

Katie Price's father-in-law has reportedly been sent to the same notorious Dubai prison where her husband Lee Andrews is currently incarcerated, with both men now facing fraud allegations, according to a report by The Sun.

Father and Son Behind Bars

The ex-glamour model, 48, married Dubai businessman Lee Andrews in January 2026, just two weeks after meeting him. The couple has rarely been out of headlines since. In May, Lee failed to board a flight to the UK for a planned joint appearance on Good Morning Britain, sparking weeks of speculation about his whereabouts before it emerged he was in prison. He was released earlier this year, claiming he had been arrested on suspicion of espionage, though it was later alleged his arrest was linked to unpaid debts.

Earlier this week, reports indicated Lee was back in prison. On Friday night, The Sun reported that Price is "at the end of her tether" after his father Peter allegedly joined him at Al Awir prison, having been reported to officials by a third party. Both are now said to be facing fraud allegations.

Friend's Account and Katie's Reaction

A friend told The Sun: "It is quite astonishing – you really couldn’t make this up. But both Lee and his dad are now behind bars, in the same prison. Lee maintains his innocence, and is hoping to pay off his outstanding debts and get out of that hell hole as quickly as possible." The friend added: "He is trying to raise the collateral to get him out of the country, and return to the UK where he hopes to start his life afresh. Whether poor Katie will be there to greet him on the other side remains to be seen. Right now she is furious with it all, and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband is bringing." According to the insider, friends are urging Katie to end her marriage to Lee.

The Mirror has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.

Previous Arrest and Fine

According to reports from last weekend, Andrews was taken by Dubai police to Lahbab police station on Friday 10 July and has been given a £120,000 fine. Katie is currently in the UK, where her Sky documentary Nothing To Hide has just been released. Lee was said to have told a friend: "They've arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a GoFundMe."

Representatives for Mr. Andrews were said to have petitioned the judge to release him from prison so he could access his bank accounts to pay off the remaining debts. In a statement, representatives said: "The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt. He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount." It was claimed that he was bragging behind bars that his wife would pay money to release him; however, the former model did not part with a penny.

The Mirror approached Mr. Andrews, representatives for Ms. Price, and Dubai Police at the time his arrest was first reported.
