Henry Nowak's Killer Faces New Weapons Charges

Vickrum Digwa, who was recently sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Henry Nowak, has appeared in Southampton Magistrates’ Court alongside his father and brother to face a series of weapons charges.

Details of the Charges

The 23-year-old Digwa faces six counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place. The items allegedly found include a flick knife, extendable baton, knuckledusters, machete, swords, and kusaris. His father, Moga Singh, 52, and brother, Gurpreet Digwa, 27, are also charged with the same six counts of possessing offensive weapons.

Additional Charges for Gurpreet Digwa

Gurpreet Digwa faces four additional charges related to possessing an asp, an air rifle, an axe, and a kirpan in public places. All alleged offences are dated 4 December 2025, the day after the murder of Henry Nowak.

Court Proceedings

The case has been adjourned until 9 July. Moga Singh and Gurpreet Digwa have been released on unconditional bail. Family members of Vickrum Digwa were seen arriving at court to face the weapons charges.
