A fugitive fraudster who spent 16 months on the run in Tenerife has been handed an additional two months in jail.
Pamela Gwinnett, 63, fled to the Spanish island while on bail awaiting trial after an investigation into her dealings with vulnerable Joan Green, 89, from Chorley, Lancashire.
Six-year sentence passed in absence
Last October, Gwinnett was convicted by a jury and sentenced in her absence to six years in jail for theft and fraud by abuse of position.
Arrest in Tenerife
Gwinnett was arrested at her Tenerife apartment on July 14 and was further detained on her arrival at Manchester Airport last week after extradition.
She appeared at Preston Crown Court on Monday, wearing the same clothes she had on when she landed in the UK, after admitting breaching her bail conditions last year.
