Jerry Jesus Reyes, 26, of Florida, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of child pornography and sexual contact with an animal, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation began after officers received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Records obtained through a court order linked Reyes to a Snapchat account containing child pornography and videos of a person sexually abusing a dog.
Witness identifies suspect and dog
A witness allegedly identified Reyes as the person in the footage and told officers the animal was a family pet – a black and white pit bull named Lola. Jail records show Reyes faces nine counts of child pornography possession and three counts of sexual contact with an animal.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office said its Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested Reyes following an investigation that uncovered videos depicting the sexual abuse of young children, including an infant, and pornographic videos involving a dog.
Previous investigations
Records obtained through subpoenas and search warrants linked Reyes to the account. A witness also recognized the dog in photographs as the family pet, Lola.
Reyes was booked into the Osceola County Jail on multiple counts of possession of child pornography and multiple counts of possession of pornographic videos depicting prohibited sexual activity involving a person and an animal. The Sheriff's Office added that Reyes had previously been the subject of multiple Internet Crimes Against Children investigations in 2016, 2021 and 2022.
