The terrifying incident unfolded when the woman heard loud banging at her door in the early hours. Upon opening it, she was confronted by Denton, who immediately pushed past her and began stabbing her new boyfriend multiple times with a large knife.

The entire bloody ordeal was recorded by the home's doorbell camera, providing crucial evidence for police. The footage shows Denton's determined approach to the property and the subsequent violent attack that left the victim with life-threatening injuries.
Prosecutor David Outterside told Nottingham Crown Court: "This was a premeditated attack. Denton went to the address armed with a knife and proceeded to stab the victim several times in a sustained assault."
