A Lancashire woman accused of kissing a teenage boy before sleeping with him has been found not guilty. Kirsty Slater was on trial after being charged with three counts of sexual activity with the teen.
Jury verdict after three hours
After less than three hours of consideration, a jury at Preston Crown Court found the 38-year-old, of Millbrook Close, Oswaldtwistle, not guilty of all three charges.
During the trial, Mrs Slater told the court the allegations were '100 per cent false.' She said a Google Hub device linked to an app on her husband's phone was pointed directly at the sofa in the living room where the incident allegedly happened.
Husband's presence cited
She also told the court her husband was in bed, directly above the living room. Mrs Slater said she had spent time with the boy but said his allegations were made up, LancsLive reports.
The jury believed Mrs Slater's account unanimously and cleared her of all charges. She wept as the foreman announced the not guilty verdicts.
