A model who sells adult content online has been left living in fear she will be killed by a "dangerously obsessed" stalker who began pestering her almost a decade ago. Nathan Blair, 40, of Stafford Close, Jarrow, admitted a breach of a restraining order and has been jailed for three years and seven months.
Obsession began with friendship
Newcastle Crown Court heard Blair first met the victim 11 years ago, but she found their friendship "unbearable" due to his obsession with her. She ended the friendship in 2018, which Blair "simply couldn't accept". In 2020, he was jailed for 28 months for stalking her and was given a restraining order banning him from contacting her.
Fake profiles and address exposure
In September 2025, the victim was advertising her adult content on TikTok livestreams. Blair set up fake accounts to bombard her with messages, including revealing her home address. He also used fake Facebook profiles to message her and contacted her landlord to claim her property was being used for drugs and prostitution.
Once her address was mentioned, the victim feared for her life and had to move house. The court heard the abuse caused her to "cry uncontrollably" and impacted her sleep and daily life.
Court sentencing
Sentencing Blair, Recorder Nicholas Lumley KC said: "She believes one day you may kill her. You have never said a threat in that way but I understand entirely why she may believe that." He added: "You were obsessed, dangerously so, with her and most likely you still are."
Recorder Lumley described the behaviour as "grotesque" and called Blair a "malevolent specter" in the victim's life, adding: "The harm caused by you to her has been very high." He said it is "difficult to conceive of any more serious breach of a restraining order."
Probation officials said Blair's "dangerous obsession" is concerning and he has limited insight or empathy into his behaviour. The court heard Blair, who struggles with rejection, has sought help from his GP.
Blair was given a new lifelong restraining order and a ten-year criminal behaviour order in a bid to keep him away from the victim.
