Northumbria Police has released a CCTV image of a male they wish to speak to following an attempted robbery in Forest Hall. The incident occurred on Monday night, June 15, at around 10pm on Great Lime Road.
Woman Left Shaken After Ordeal
The victim, a woman, was getting into her car after leaving a nearby shop when she was approached by a male who was indecently exposing himself. He demanded that she hand over her car keys and grabbed her. The woman refused to give him her keys and managed to escape. She was left shaken but uninjured.
Police Investigation Underway
Northumbria Police has launched an investigation into the report and enquiries are ongoing. They have released an image of a male believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident and who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Officers are appealing for the public's help to identify a person as they investigate a report of attempted robbery in North Tyneside. It was reported that at 10pm on Monday (June 15) a woman had left a nearby shop and was getting into her car on Great Lime Road in Forest Hall when she was approached by a male. The male, who is reported to have been indecently exposing himself at the time, has then demanded that the victim give him her car keys. The male grabbed the woman but she refused to hand over her keys before she was able to get away from him. She then reported the incident to police."
